Tis the season of holiday parties and lots of entertaining. When hosting a party, if you strive to serve the best, but would rather spend the day at the spa than in the kitchen, this is the recipe for you.
Baked Bruschetta & Brie Dip
To make this dip, you will require the following 3 ingredients:
- A wheel of brie (roughly 6 inch diameter) – you can pick this up at the Cheese Boutique in Toronto or various supermarkets
- 450g of bruschetta mix
- French bread stick
Step: Preheat oven to 375 degrees
Step 2: Unwrap the wheel of brie, and cut off the skin of the brie around the sides, top and bottom (this is edible skin, but doesn’t melt very well)
Step 3: In a 1 ½ quart casserole dish, cover the bottom of the dish in brie and top with the bruschetta mix
Step 4: Bake in oven for 15-20, or until cheese is thoroughly melted
Step 5: While the dish is in the oven, slice the French stick in half and then into 1” pieces for dipping
Step 6: Once cheese is thoroughly melted, remove from oven and serve with bread
Enjoy!
If you want to save some calories with this dish, substitute the bread for baked Tostitos.
