Here are some helpful hints to ensure that you look stunning in your dress on your big day:
- Stay away from sodium! For at least a week before your wedding, cut out the sodium. This will prevent bloating, and will help prevent that “puffy” look.
- Don’t diet! Dieting right before your wedding will only lead to binge eating at your bachelorette, rehearsal dinner or any other meals you have that week. Eat reasonably and keep a balanced diet, this will prevent any over indulging (this means eating breakfast!).
- Drink lots of water. Drinking 8-10 classes of water a day will help keep your appetite in check and your brain will send you the “I’m full” message when it should. What’s the bonus? Drinking plenty off water will give you a nice glowing complexion.
- Get a good night sleep. Sleeping less than 7 hours a night can throw off your hormones, which will throw your appetite out of alignment. Getting a good night sleep with also help reduce your stress level, which can help prevent any emotional eating.
- Step to it and work it out! Talk a walk. By walking briskly for 20 minutes a day (heart rate over 150 beats per minute), 5 days a week, you will melt an average of 1 pound off your physique a week! Take the stairs, park from away from the store, or take a romantic walk with your true love.
